Higgins Homes Utilises Technology and Innovation to Support Buyers

Although we are living in very uncertain times, we wanted to reach out to our customers to reassure them that we are doing all we can to help with their homebuying needs. With the self-isolation rules firmly in place, the enforced time we are spending in our homes leads us to consider what we would perhaps like to change about them. Many people are reflecting on the lives they have and the things they would like to change, and that can include using the time to research new areas and homes to live in.  

We have been closely following all Government advice, so all of our teams are now predominately working remotely. However, this has not stopped us from offering the same high level of support and sales service to enable our customers to continue to complete transactions and move in to their new apartment or house. Higgins Homes has been working tirelessly to create ways in which customers can still start their homebuying journey too, while being careful to ensure that we are following guidelines on social distancing.

“This has been a challenge but I’m incredibly proud of the team for maintaining the high level of customer service that Higgins Homes is known for,” says Jeremy Marcus, Sales & Marketing Director at Higgins Homes. “We have all quickly adapted to a new way of working, which has been appreciated by people needing to move home.”

To adhere to the official Stay at Home advice, Higgins Homes has adapted the way in which they communicate to customers to give them all the information they need. Although the marketing suites are closed, customers are being shown video walk rounds of the show homes and completed plots so homebuyers can see the space and views available, everything that you would expect to see during a face to face viewing.

So far, the response from homebuyers has been very positive, with one of the benefits being that they can take the time to re-watch the tours and speak to the sales advisors in detail. “We have actually reserved several apartments since the lockdown has started and a number of completions on various sites, all of course, adhering to the Government guidelines on social distancing,” adds Jeremy Marcus. “Moving home can be stressful and during this pandemic, we want to reach out and do all we can for our customers and reassure them that we will help them every step of the way. Communication is key and our office phone lines, emails, social media channels and our web site will be monitored closely with all questions answered.”
