Long-time resident Rosalind Ann Glaser who has just purchased a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in our Morgan Place development here, tells us why she loves the area so much. 

Willesden’s location and community feel is “popular with professionals”

One of the main reasons Rosalind chose Morgan Place was because of the location and community feel Willesden has.

“There are all the essential amenities that you need and I’ve always felt very safe here even if I’m walking home in the evening.,” says Rosalind.

“The transport connections are really good too. I mostly use the local buses, which give direct routes to many places including the shopping centres of Brent Cross and Westfield, and there is even a night bus.

“The tube is also close, which offers direct access into Central London, which makes the area popular with professionals.”

Being a local, she also wanted to stay in the neighbourhood she loved, largely because of the community feel of the area and commitment to her church.

“This is a really lovely and friendly community with lots of young families, I’ve been a member of my local church for many years” she says.

Benefits of a new build and quality of the Morgan Place apartment

The benefits of a new build apartment in Morgan Place have also made life much easier for Rosalind, including the convenience and easy care nature of a new build. Better heating efficiency, all rooms being on one level, less upkeep and access to outside space without all the maintenance of a garden are among the benefits.

This was important for Rosalind as she wanted to move into an easy to care for property due to life changes, difficulties with mobility and the hassle she had found with her previous home.

“I’ve spent a huge amount of money on maintaining my current home, probably in the region of £40,000, and there is still work to be done on it.”

One of the other reasons why a Morgan Place apartment was great for Rosalind was the layout and space it offered.

“Although the apartment has the same number of bedrooms as my house, Morgan Place offers more living space than I currently have”.

The great design and high quality specification was another plus Rosalind found with Morgan Place, and she is  “looking forward to enjoying the lovely flooring, tiling, kitchen and bathrooms that were in the show flat.”
